If someone told you their New Year’s Resolution was to learn more about infection prevention, critical communication, navigating health care, starting a new career, conflict resolution, medical AI, patient safety and advocacy — and that they planned to do it all in just two days, would you think they were crazy?
Not at all: they just bought a ticket for Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy’s 2026 Symposium/Family-Centered Patient Advocacy Training.
The lucky few who attend the two-day event in Westbury, NY — seats are limited — will do all that and more, as they experience Pulse’s trademark mix of internationally-recognized expert speakers, hands-on patient advocacy training (leading to a certificate), and interaction with peers and colleagues.

Pulse CPSEA President Ilene Corina says, “This is Pulse’s 30th year of providing support, tools and education to help make health care safer. 30 years later, effective ways to improve patient outcomes are more needed than ever. The 2026 symposium and training offer participants the newest methods and insights from across the many kinds of patient safety advocacy.”
Pulse members benefit from reduced admission fees for the Symposium and other activities. Reduced “early-bird” tickets are available for a limited time.
