Sangeeta Buragohain to Join Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy’s Program Committee
Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy (Pulse CPSEA) is pleased to announce that Sangeeta Buragohain (PT, DPT), independent patient advocate and founder of CareLink Health Advocacy, has joined Pulse’s Program Committee.
With more than two decades of healthcare experience as a licensed physical therapist and utilization review specialist, Sangeeta believes in simplifying healthcare for patients and families. At CareLink Health Advocacy, she uses her insider knowledge of clinical care and insurance evaluations to overcome rehab coverage barriers and advocate for patients’ needs.

She says, “I align with Pulse’s mission to promote patient safety through education and advocacy. I was first introduced to Pulse by another member and patient advocate, Shlomit Liberty, and after seeing the impact of Pulse’s programs and presentations I knew I wanted to become a member.”
The Program Committee oversees Pulse’s three online monthly forums. It is led by David Fielding (BCPA, MPH), with Pulse President Ilene Corina (BCPA), Marc Berlin (BCPA) On the Marc Patient Advocate, and Sofie Schwartz (MBA) of Greater National Advocates.
“Sofie introduced me to the Program Committee,” says Sangeeta. “In this role, I look forward to bringing my resources, unique advocacy insights, and fresh ideas to help strengthen Pulse's educational programming and advance patient safety initiatives.”
