With over 30 years experience, Myra served in a variety of settings, with specialties in College Health, Internal Medicine and Oncology/Hematology. In 2018, Myra became one of the first Board Certified Patient Advocates in the nation and founded Katz Patient Advocate Inc to help patients navigate the increasingly complex healthcare system. Myra is also a certified cancer navigator, a volunteer with Gilchrist Services, a hospice outside Baltimore, Maryland, and a death doula, helping terminal patients manage their final days in peace and dignity. Myra uses her extensive experience to help clients deal with complex medical issues and make sure all avenues have been explored and considered, so that clients feel confident and secure with their medical decisions.
